Handcrafted in Tokyo, Japan

In the 1950s, master luthier Tsunesaburo Kurosawa embarked on a formative journey to Spain, where he immersed himself in the finest guitar-making traditions of the era. He had the rare privilege of working alongside the most celebrated builders of the time, including the legendary José Ramírez workshop in Madrid. Upon returning to Japan, Kurosawa established his own atelier, where he channeled that hard-won expertise into producing exceptional instruments inspired by the great Spanish masters.

This particular guitar is crafted in the tradition of the José Ramírez III — the very style of instrument that Andrés Segoviafamously played and championed for decades.

The guitar presents in excellent condition, reflecting a lifetime of careful ownership. Minor surface blemishes due to normal playing wear and two small string impressions below the bridge have been professionally touched up. Importantly, this guitar is completely crack-free — no repairs, no hidden issues.

Offered here as a single-owner instrument, purchased new and lovingly maintained, this is a rare opportunity to acquire a truly special piece of classical guitar history.
